In 1992, Jillian, a 7 pound, 5 ounce cutie, was born to parents Brad and Vicki. Her young life was documented by her older brother, Nick, for he had just learned how to use the video camera and just couldn't put it down. Her oldest sister, Lauren, was an outgoing queen of the home video, for she would often sing songs and dance in front of the camera. As Jillian grew up, she was influenced by her brother and sister's interests, so she got the best of both the music world and the filming world.
As a young child, Jillian loved to perform for anyone and everyone she could. She sang in the bathtub, she danced at church, and she even sang in the public bathrooms! By the time she was 7, she had starred in various Boyerfilms, such as Grampa, Grampa Returns, The 36th Galaxy, As the Trigger's Pulled, and The 56th Galaxy, and she decided it was time to make a film of her own.
So she got her friend Heather over and gathered up her action figures, and she made The Mermaid Destiny, a story of a young girl whose destiny is to become queen of the merpeople for a few days so the merpeople can be freed from the evil reign of Ursula (yes, I named her Ursula). It was terrible, a complete rip-off of The Little Mermaid I and II, and Heather kept blocking the camera. But it was her first film, and she was almost 10, so she was pretty proud. Using Windows MovieMaker, she made her title pages. Jillian was unsure of what to type, but she had seen the credits her brother made, so she just mimicked his. When she got to the "Produced by" part, she didn't know what to say. Jillian remembered Boyerfilms, and thought "I made the movie. Why don't I make my own?" And thus, Jillianfilms was born.
Since then, she hasn't made that many movies. There was a documentary she made on Wales called Welcome to Wales and there was a movie she made about the Black Death called Bubonic, but she never really made any films besides those. But now, she has over six movies made, and even has a review series, all to prepare her for a mini-series she's planning to film next summer.
